 Steve, I do not want to say that simply because nothing in this world
happens by accident. The fact is tht Bulhmann's "model" is something he
developed in order to explain the empirical evidence and it is close
enough for a starting point. See his book which is nothing more than a
step by step explanation of how and why he did this.

 When he did it, the North Sea oil operations were just getting under
way. This is where the empirical evidence stacks up. The oil companies,
like the WKPP now, found what worked while using Bulhmann as a startng
point, and went from there.

 That is all I am trying to do here. Let's forget finding a "formula",
and let's discuss learning the many aspects of decompression that we can
use succesfully.
