Capt, JT I have taken to touching each valve with my hand once im in the rig, but I open the valves prior to gearing, actually i open them when i put the regs on so I can stand away a little and not take a first stage in the chest or back of the head, if something fails catastrophically. I also push the purge button, or i try to remember to, to avoid the hi pressure slam on the seats and I turn the spg downward to avoid shrapnel in the face when it goes. Plus its easier to hear small leaks, and I can visually inspect things when pressurized. regards, Al Marvelli Capt JT wrote: > listen. > > > (I like to open my valves while seated and geared up, proves to myself that > I can do it) -- Send mail for the `techdiver' mailing list to `techdiver@aquanaut.com'.
