No, no - that was not a "scare" situation, it was just a situation. I
know that cave like my house, and can freqently ride for thousands of
feet at a time without even seeing the line. 

I'm not worried about me, I'm worried about what I see going on out
there, and want to try whatever it takes to change it.

Everybody is on the fast track, everybody is taking dive course after
dive course, everyone wants more and deeper and techier and harder, and
the basics are being ignored, experience is not being gatherd, and the
focus is wrong, the exection is wrong, and the outcome is going to be
wrong.

I think I can do a lot to fix that, and am not only willing to set the
example, I am willing to put my time where my mouth is. For my own
account, I have some great friends and buddies to dive my stuff with,
and when the situation is right for doing what I really like, I will do
that, but that is once in a great while. The rest of the time I need to
be doing my part. I have my trainging down cold now, so can do both.
