Greg, whoever it is is breathing the 70 bottle at 80 or something. That might fly on a short dive, but the spike at that depth on a long dive is dicey, or on a repetative dive. We use standard deco gasses and bottles marked accordingly . This kind of simplicity keeps you alive. Remember Cory, the guy who wrote the deco software for the Apple Mac computer? He killed himself ( while doing a body recovery of a toxed diver) because he picked up the wrong set of gas that was not marked properly. Our own Bobby Mcguirre, a Marine Corp Captain, killed hiself the same way, and he was an orderly , organized guy. JJ and I figure that the only way we are going to get wacked , outside of getting shot by a jealous husband , is that way out of carelessness, or in a car ( in my case).
