The countdown from 999 is to check all segments of the numeric display. The
328 max is just because they said so! Go figure! I also have had one of my
two die in the first year. It has been sent back to them so I will see what
happens.

John Allen of Trader John's, AKA John's Scuba, DBA Northeast Scuba Supply
told me that Beauchat has a new one out. Give him a call.
