Techdivers, After spending a weekend on the list, reading alot of messages and receiving a warm welcome from a couple of divers. I have decided to take advantage of the knowledge and experience that exists within this community without wasting any time. I am at the very start of my journey as a diver. My previous certifications that took me over a year and 150 dives to reach were reduced to almost nothing in the past couple of hours. Just from reading your detailed postings which were overwelming. (The ones about diving of course) = *I have received many warnings about what to write here* *and will watch my every step.* My questions will be basic and brief. I would like to get as much information before taking any more courses and purchasing more = equipment. I am interested in advancing in Overhead Training now and someday going deeper. = My current certification is: Cavern(NSS-CDS) = My Overhead experience is limited to 5 cavern dives since completing the cavern course 26 SEP 99 at Ginnie Springs. The question: Should I start by taking a Nitrox Course before any other overhead training? "If my questions are not appropriate for the list, please let me know."
