And crawling around in a hole in the ground so you can impress your friends
is any better?  I recover artifacts not to impress my friends but because
it's what I like to do.  I like researching them, recovering them, cleaning
them up and displaying them.  It's enjoyment, just like cave diving is to
others!  I don't criticize them so they shouldn't criticize me.  At least
the things I bring up would eventually be destroyed and forgotten if I
didn't bring them up.  More than I can say about a cave that's been there
for millions of years......
