Well, I once owned a multi-mix nitrox computer proudly crafted in Boulder that worked just like your Data Trans. The wrist mounted monitor would require frequent proximity with the transmitter to update, accomplished by putting my arm up above my head every now and then. I decided I looked stupid going "Sieg Heil" all the time and got rid of it. A techno geek took it since he wanted the three-mix capability and all the other features despite the problems. He was more into challenging software than challenging dives and we were both happy about the transaction. I actually swapped it for a single-mix Aeris nitrox computer. Let's see -- we're talking a loss of about $ 800... I've got an electronic bottom timer for my trimix dives. regards, Hans -- Send mail for the `techdiver' mailing list to `techdiver@aquanaut.com'.
