Hi folks, Having just signed up, I thought I had better introduce myself. I have been diving for a little over a year and have done about 75 dives in that time. I was certified with PADI and have my AOW certificate. I am planning to do the Rescue course soon. As far as technical diving goes, I have no experience (unless you call exceeding the sport diving limit by 0.5 m technical diving :-),but a lot of interest. Here in Melbourne (Australia not Florida!), you can't even get Nitrox as yet (although the shop I dive through is planning to install a Nitrox panel soon). I hope to do a Nitrox course when one is run down here (I gather it might happen around May). I also have quite an interest in dive table safety and have been playing around with some programs to compare the limits allowed on various profiles for a number of tables (I'm not sure whether this really falls into the technical diving category). A quick question: is there an archive of this mailing list anywhere ? Have I missed many postings ?
