http://www.gue.com/research/britanic/gallery06.shtml Check this picture out - a bunch of GUE divers using aluinium 80's on the Britannic inside the wreck. I guess Big Von was a little wrong about what it takes to dive deep . BTW, Cousteau used a similar amount of gas for his dives. In the other pictures you can also see they use 104's for some dives, but in all cases the drysuit is used. With the 80's the drysuit is not necessary to balance the rig ( in fact weight has to be added ), but the obvious fact of life on Planet Earth is that deep water is cold, and the obvious fact of life for us is that cold is like narcosis. When somebdoy tells you otherwise, it is obvious that they are full of bull, and do not really do this or they would know.
