Randy,
I'll vouch for Dan's ability to keep with a Gavin or a Mako. Although he
does wear thoughs big -ucking free diving fins, the guy is built like a
brick shit house (a clean one Dan).<g>
The reason for the DPV is to keep the RMV to a minimum. If it where to
fail in a cave you could leave it and either be towed out of swim out. This
is where the planning takes place.
