Subject: Re: DIR FAQ
Tod, the FAQ stuff is a great idea - go with it. Sure , WKPP , GUE and
others have web sites with things on them but a discussion is always
needed. The more we talk about it and go over it, the better off
everyone's understanding of the important "whys" is.

You were a pain in my ass too, at first, but you made me think about it
all over again and explain things that had become habit for me. Some of
my own guys did not know why they were doing what they were doing, and
in fact JJ and I have had several such rehash converations lately where
we went back over why we do what we do in order to get everyone on the
same page when we discovereed they were not, or not in undertanding as
to why. In fact, Casey McKinlay, John Rose, Mark Lonsdale, JJ and I went
over the stage bottles and markings at Turner Sink before a dive a
couple of months ago, JJ Casey and I went over rigging a few weeks ago,
and then a few days ago in the parking lot at EE went over some other
details while looking at some bottles and regs that Casey just retrieved
from Turner and Sheryl from dives done in the Swimthrough back in April.

If we need to discuss it, then all of us need to discuss it . You can
tell also that we have new people on here anyway by the usual "save the
world from George" thing tah is going on with Nakamura and whoever is
calling me "kevin". Obviously , Tod, you are correct - we need to do
FAQ. Make all of these guys play.
