Cause being a Marine is kinda like training to do a mind blowing, deep never been done before dive...and then never ever doing the dive...it's a Warrior Mentality... All of us wanted to test the mind and body in the supreme, ultimate way. That was our purpose, what we trained so hard for...and you felt let down if you missed your war. I speak from personal experience, I missed the Gulf War ("my war") by about 2 months. I was at my MOS school and then it was over. The Iraqis never even put up a fist. All of know war ain't a good thing, and all of us are better off if we Don't have one...but until you step into the arena, you will never know what you are really made of.
