i am not going to get into a long discussion about your concept of side & ID 
diving.

i only have one point to make & i agree with you entirely on this --
YOU CHOSE to accept the additional assumption of risk -when it is deemed to 
be acceptable to you?? 
so how is it you can't accept the possibility that others (that may have more 
experience than you or anyone you might know) CHOSE to accept the additional 
assumption of risk FOR THEMSELVES??
