I bought some Turtle fins years ago in Houston, TX. The dive store was
happy to get rid of them since all divers in the area used wetsuits and
wouldn't ask for huge fins. I liked them a lot but I lost one overboard
after some years and couldn't find a replacement. These fins were made by
some Japanese company and had a turtle logo on top of each humongous foot
pocket. They were basic black rubber fins without any vents as far as I
remember. They were not really long -- just wide with a huge foot pocket,
great for drysuit booties. Are we talking of the same company? They had one
flaw by the way, a faulty mold on same side of each foot pocket split open
after a couple of years' use.

regards,

Hans
