Richard,
I have dove with both. the IDI fins are not identical to the jet fins. =
The jet fins are a tad shorter and about an inch wider. the IDI fins =
are a good alternative to the jet fins if you need bigger size than XL =
jet. The foot pocket of the idi XL is bigger than the jet XL and will =
allow you to get more of your foot in the pocket, they are negatively =
buoyant and like the jet fin will never wear out. BEWARE: DO NOT GET =
ANYTHING SMALLER THAN THE XL as the smaller idi rubber fins are good for =
snorkeling at best. Good Luck, and Dive Safe. Bob

I've read that IDI's Powerfin is supposed to be a duplicate of =
ScubaPro's Jetfin; except for the price. Can anyone confirm or disprove =
this? Design, durability, performance?

I'm considering one of these fins based on their reputation, =
reviews, and their fit. I need fins to fit over size 11 rock boots. If =
the XL's don't fit, I'll consider IDI's Turtlefin. I'd also like any =
advice on fin selection anyone is willing to give. Most of my dives are =
in MD and PA quarries, with an occasional ocean dive off of MD or DE. I =
dive doubled hp100's with a backplate and DiveRite wings. For now, I use =
Reflex fins XL, which is a huge blade. All I need is a big foot pocket, =
not a big blade. I guess fin designers assume that if you need a big =
foot pocket, you must be a big person, capable of using a big fin. I'm =
not prone to get cramps, I just don't like the feel of the Reflex fins. =
I'm hoping to try some fins in the quarrie soon, but as of now, I don't =
know anyone with either the Powerfin or the Jetfin.=20

I appreciate any and all feedback. I can always learn from other =
diver's experiences and knowledge. Thanks
