 They are aapparently a manufacturer, and you have to buy the stuff through
local distributors, of which there a couple in my area. I was able to talk
them out of a sample, but they wanted to know what I was using it for, how
much I might buy, etc etc.

the local distributor quoted me $1.20 a foot with a minimum order of 25'
(or 99=A2 if I wanted to order 328' or more).
