Subject: Re: singles w/backplate and adapter?
Rich, the rig that Carmichael ( Halcyon ) makes is a copy of my old
plastic single tank rig ( this is where Rboert got it from), only there
is a channel against the backplate that holds the tank. It is higher
than the plastic, but the difference is quite small. I switched to the
halcyon rig myself.

The other versions of this are too floopy and lose, the halcyon stays
put.

In addition, using the halcyon rig then alows you to use that exact
harness for your doubles, and big savings for divers, and the most
optimal choice.
