Yeah, used to be thought it was a good idea.  No longer.  The message I've
gotten from the med types is that (a) it doesn't really do any good and
(b) it may mask symptoms of the bends, leading to delayed treatment and
diagnosis.   And, we all know, the sooner the better on treatment.
