I guess this is as good a time as any to ask my question.

I was diving up at Little River this past weekend. I ran into some 
people taking an intro to cave course. I overheard one of the diving 
tenders telling some people in the class to pop an aspirin at the 
start of a days diving to help reduce platelete cohesiveness and 
reduce the risk of contracting the bends. I have never heard this 
before. Comments anyone?
