Dave-

I notice that once again your "George filter" has failed to work. If you
want I can give you some pointers on how to effectively set one up so you
never have to get a post from George again. You really seem to have a
personal chip on your shoulder with George. Other than bad manners on this
list, what exactly is driving this vitriol from you? What's the real story?
You aren't one of Gilliams shills are you?

Also with all your NE diving you seem to be strangely lacking in some basic
knowledge on how many NE diver do their dives. For example you keep saying
something about divers handing stuff up the ladder in rough seas. Nobody I
know does this. You use a gear line, this is a weighted line you have
hanging off the side of the boat to which you can do your deco or hang spare
bottles off of. Then haul them up once you are aboard. And if you are doing
a long deco dives your support divers can take your deco bottles off of you
while they stand by ready to help if you have problems.

And this "sidemount" stuff. Sidemounting is a cave thing, I have no idea how
it applies to wreckdiving. I suppose you are talking about clipping off your
stages to your shoulder and/or waist Drings. Surely you are not talking
about attaching pony's to the sides of your your main doubles, that dumb
bullshit went out with Cousteau when he realized what a mistake it was 30
years ago. Whoops, forgot about those limey Lusitania screwballs. Well, the
lunatic fringe does not count.

And as far as the rest of this post of yours is concerned, you might want to
try leading by example. Your main purpose stated in your grand entrance to
Techdiver was to bring some sort of humanity (or something) to this list.
This post seems a rather large step backwards into the typical anarchy which
we so much enjoy.

Unless, that is, you are trolling. Then I have no problem with this string
of debasements and insults at all, you may act as big an ahole as you wish.
After all, that's how you play the game.

   Jim
