>The point here, Dave, is to minimize as much as possible any heavy >exertion immediately following a long exposure. My point to my wife exactly, when she wants me to mow the lawn the day after a dive-day. Putting out the cat is as hard as it gets. >Having a background in >hyperbaric physiology, did you ever do doppler studies of this? Nope. Be interesting, though. I'd love to have a doppler to carry on the boat for grins. Be neat to show people what is really happening. >You mentioned that the >heavy sea is a problem, but in this case would it not be wise to limit >your exposure anyway? Always do. I've had several cases of DCS as a commercial diver and do not wish to repeat same without a chamber on deck. Elbows still crack from whatever Sat does to them. I'm very conservative with the exposure. Another topic: I've still got my dive logs from the gulf and just found a set of our old company tables for mixed gas. I'm going to run the profiles against the software available today and compare them to the company profiles. Be interesting so see exactly how badly they were hurting us each day. I know that they were. I'll report in a day or so. I'm sure that the tables were as primitive as can be, circa 1975.
