DIR is Doing It Right. A way of rigging gear and a certain set of beliefs
towards diving. The way of rigging is the cleanest and most streamlined I
have come across.

SCUBA means Self Contained Underwater Breathing Apparatus as oppost to
Surface Supplied (used in commercial diving) for example.
