Greetings from Sacramento, California. I have
just joined the group, and would like to introduce
myself:
I am a Registered Civil Engineer with the California
Department of Transportation, and a Lieutenant in the
U.S. Naval Reserves (Seabees).
I have been SCUBA diving for a little over 15 years.
I am a certified (and insured!) PADI DM. I am a
diver for, and the current President of the Drowning
Accident Rescue Team here in Sacramento, CA. My
technical training is limited to Rescue/Recovery
diving and MedDive Training from Dive Rescue Intl.
For fun (when not diving), I put on Lederhosen
(German leather shorts) and do German Folk
Dance performances at Oktoberfests around Sacramento.
I also put on a Scottish kilt and assorted weapons
and perform with Saint Andrew's Guild at
Rennaisance Faires in California.
If anyone is interested in diving with the schooling
hammerheads in Cabo San Lucas in July, be sure and
let me know. We have a timeshare there, and divers
will be welcome to crash there.
Also, I indexed the techdiver archive, and saw that
there was an incredible wealth of files. Any
suggestions on what to download?
