I think it is what I say, and how I teach that matters. I understand however that if someone is into the scuba training business to earn his living, trying to stick to the DIR principle, is not very profitable. At least here in Greece. I am glad I am not in such a position, else I would end being a poor instructor :-) However, others do teach, anybody, anyhow. Can you imagine a "tech course" run with equipment provided by to diving school ? I've seen that many times. In fact, all the time....
