I can't and wouldn't want to speak for George Irvine or anyone else ...
But as to myself ... I certainly haven't done it all ...
If you want to learn about people who did ...
Cousteau & Dumas' "The Silent World" from the 1950's is a good place to
start ...
It certainly left a lasting impression with me ...
And Chapter 5 about the "Fountain of Vaucluse" ...
Is an interesting story to contemplate ...
Especially if you are "Playing" with gear configurations...
And wondering about the hazards of "Deep Air" ...

That chapter starts with Cousteau's words ...
"Our worst experience in five thousand dives ... "

All the Best ...

Marty:
Thank you for your RESPONSIBLE input.
I really don't have a problem and had made an
observation and was looking for others experience.

Thats the beauty of this internet thing - you guys
have done it all and made the corrections. I come
along adopt the better mouse trap and don't have the
mistakes that lead up to but I can simply ask and get
the information. NOW if george could just simply
supply reasons and not pound his chest at others
experience. NEVER happen ;-)!
Thanks again!
