The IANTD Normoxic Trimix Diver program is designed for dives from 130-200
fsw using a trimixture with no less than 21% oxygen. This is different than
the trimix program that can utilize mixes with less than 21% oxygen
content. It was designed to eliminate the use of air for dives deeper than
130 fsw. For the most part these dives can be done with a simple trimix of
21/30 and a 50% decompression gas. The course is a great transition for the
diver who wants to dive without the risks of nitrogen narcosis. 

Option # 1 Prerequisites are IANTD Advanced EANx diver with proof of 100
dives, 30 must be deeper than 90 fsw. 

OR 

Option # 2 Prerequisite IANTD EANx Diver "or equivalent" but now need to
have proof of 150 dives of which 50 are deeper than 90 fsw.

With a diver who has accumulated the 100 or 150 dives experience in say, a
12-18 month period this is an excellent transition to mixed gas scuba
diving and access to some deeper dive sites, that normally would not be
accessible with minimized risk using air.
