Phil, don't worry about it. Keep doing what you are doing. I just made
all this shit up out of the blue, and have very little diving experience
myself. In fact, I have never tried anything else, and don't know much
about it. 

Sorry for the confusion - carry on - you make some great points here.

I was planning on taking a course or two from Kevin Gurr to get
straightened out, and I will let you know what I learn. Maybe you could
give me a few pointers on kit to give me a leg up when I take Kev's
course.

Thanks for the note. When I get a little experience under my belt, maybe
I will be in a better postition to carry on the conversation with you.
