George, I'd like to learn more about how you plan your bottom and deco mix. From what I gathered so far, you try to control the PP of both O2 and N, and lean more towards heli-ox for intermediate deep dives. 1) Is there a reference book that you would recommend, or is your current practice a result of you & your dive buddies experiments. 2) Do you have a max PPN that you plan with? 3) What constitutes "misuse" of O2, and what is proper use? 4) At what depth would you go back to tri-mix to lessen HPNS and have you ever had to do this for a dive? regards, Don W. kirvine@sa*.ne* wrote: > > Exactly , the nitrogen.
