Not if your name is George Irvine, but us lesser dudes feel the dive the day after. At least I do. In the summer I don't dive when I'm doing MTB competitions. It messes around my training and I cannot perform the way I know I can without diving. I feel the diving (ie the nitrogen probably) lengthens and disturbs the recuperation time needed for the muscles after training.
