Not if your name is George Irvine, but us lesser dudes feel the dive the day
after. At least I do. In the summer I don't dive when I'm doing MTB
competitions. It messes around my training and I cannot perform the way I know I
can without diving. I feel the diving (ie the nitrogen probably) lengthens and
disturbs the recuperation time needed for the muscles after training. This is
all intuitive but I would love to hear from anyone who can put some proven
theory to this.

Hi all,

Can rec. diving (less than 40m, no deco) affect your physical ability the
day after? I was thinking that maybe it is a bad idea for me to dive the
day before long distance running competitions.
