Cam, < BTW if you are a real person, sorry about that cam bands crack last year > Im right now using an aqua explorers reel, a big blue one. It doesnt have the anti tension thing. I just use my finger and watch what im doing. Ive found that guys with those spend their dives trying to untangle them, because they seem to feel having a plastic doohickey means they dont have to watch what they are doing. I have also used the dive rite reels, they are also good, although i had one jam with salt corrosion, the aqua explorer seems to take more of a beating, although theres no excuse for an inadequate pmcs. < my bad> I tried a y valve, the beuchat. they sent me one that leaked from the seam. That raised an eyebrow in the fill bin. My biggest complaint was that two odin firsts didnt really fit side by side with the hoses pointing down. Check first stage clearance before you buy. Nowadays, when i dive single, i dive single and when i need doubles, i use doubles. I got a custom tls, and have the 400gram, xl. I have too much arm and leg, i had the legs shortened, but i need the arms worked on. During the summer i have been using some stuff from ems, the thinsulate bottom layer and a set of army issue brown polypro over that, works fine in 50 - 70 degree water. . regards, al marvelli Cam Banks wrote: > Okay, what suggestions do you all have for: > > * wreck reel (I'm thinking about Manta or Reef Scuba "SEAL reel") > > * H-valve or Y-valve; which is better for redundancy on a single tank? > > * drysuit underwear; I'm basically a size Medium-Tall, and get cold > fairly easily so I need something that is a) warm (thick?) and b) > doesn't restrict my range of motion.
