Sorry- the second paragraph should have read; "Most types of 'natural' rubber are susceptible to failure induced by heat, most oils, chemical solvents, and fuels, AND DO NOT have good mechanical properties, resistance to ozone, oxygen and weathering. " Anyone who has seen a latex glove 'weather' outside knows how poor the resistance of natural rubber is. Peter David
