If DAN or the agencies start up on the PFO, no insurance company in their right mind will insure anyone who has not been tested, and no training agency will dare teach diving without the test. Personally, I would just like to see these idiots inform the clientele of this risk, and let them make up their own mind about testing. What is so pathetic about dive training continues to be this kind of stupidity. I read about PFO 12 years ago in a British dive magazine where they had discovered that some 96 out of 100 bends cases using dive computers had PFO's. The other 4 were fat slobs. Get tested.
