Hi Kevin,
One question: How much do you weigh?  Wearing the same setup I need a total
of 8#s in addition to the SS backplate.  Either you are severly
overwieghted, or you are overweight.  If your weightbelt comes lose, you
will not lose it if you put the weightbelt on first (before fastening your
waist strap and cumberbun).  I verified this when mine came lose on a dive.
I simply put it back on and continued my dive.  If I had lost it, it would
not have mattered until deco anyway since your wetsuit would be compressed
at depth and your tanks full.  In short, forget weight pockets.  They are
not DIR.
