Based on the recommendations in the DIR tapes I bought a set of Scubapro jet fins (XL size). Those worked great while I was still using a wet suit. Now I just recently started using a custom DUI TLS350 drysuit and I'm having trouble getting the fins to fit. My drysuit has the standard booties, not rock boots. It seems like the rubber soles on the bottom are just a little too wide to fit into the fin pockets. I can force them in part of the way but they aren't really secure. Is there some special trick to this, or are my feet (size 11 1/2) just too big? I'm considering slicing open the sides of the fin pockets to make them larger and then attaching some extra straps to hold them together, but that would probably end up as a huge mess. ---- Nick Radov <nradov@ax*.co*> -- Send mail for the `techdiver' mailing list to `techdiver@aquanaut.com'.
