Hi Everyone,

Do you abort the procedure and bring the diver up? Switch to air (if this
is even possible)?

*NO* *Never change a convulsing diver's depth* You can give him/her
an embolism *very* easily.

Switch to air if using a system that makes this possible, wait
15 minutes after O2 symptoms have subsided and then try O2 again.
If you have further O2 problems, don't try oxygen again at all.

If the system doesn't allow for a switch to air, then maintain depth
till the diver is breathing again (a minute or two) then slowly return
to the surface and abort the procedure.

That's my opinion, but I haven't had to put it into practice. Is there
anyone out there who would care to comment on what I have said?

Cheers Jason (You guess which one)
