The documentation for the Biomarine Seapack 1000 states that it uses 3 sensors which have a life span of 6 months. Hence your cost might be $A1200/Year! You also have to consider scrubber, gas, biocide, batteries and moisture absorbent. Some of this may be recycleable. I also wonder if the electronics are subject to flooding. I spend an hour preparing my camera and flashes before every dive and have still managed to flood everything at least once. I usually find that with electronics a few drops of seawater go along way!
