Hi Maggie. The HID technology is outragous. Get your money out. I have'nt seen what Dive Rite has but I've seen what the top cavers in the world are using. Very bright hi lux and will at least double the average battery time. These things will damage you or your dive buddy's eyes if your not careful. The bulbs where over $100.00 ea and the HID itself is in excess of $600.00. If you interested I'll give you a contact who knows much more than I do and he carry's them.
