I'm thinking about getting a scooter for local (NE) ocean diving,
but haven't got a clue what's out there or what's any good. 

Can anyone make recommendations, preferably with ones that you've
actually used?  In particular, I'm looking for specs such as
weight (in and out of water), length, burn time, speed, etc.

I'm definitely not looking for one of those monster sized scooters
that I've seen, but something as light and as small as possible with
a couple hours burn time at slow speeds.
