Hello, listmembers:

I'm in the process of upgrading my equipment, and one of the last items I'm
getting is a custom wetsuit, 7mm farmer john and beavertail jacket.

I want it made of Rubatex G-231, but the one caveat I've heard from wetsuit
manufacturers is that the material might be too stiff to be comfortable.

Of course, I'm mostly interested in it's performance underwater, but I will
spend time in the farmer john sitting on a kayak or for 8 hrs a day on
liveaboards.

If anyone has experience with a wetsuit of G-231, (also pros/cons of
attached hoods?) I would appreciate your views.
