The first run of SS hardware from Brownie's/EE had flat ends on the bolts that really facilitated working 'em with cold water gloves. The snaps they carry now seem a lot beefier, but the ends are teardrop shaped and take more effort to open and close. I can see how the flat enders could irritate bare skin, but since most of my (and Stingray's customer's) diving is done in thick gloves on NE wrecks, I'd really like to be able to get the old style snaps. I asked Larry Coyne about them, but he said Brownie's can't get them anymore... Anyone out there know of a supplier? BTW, some of the snaps I originally bought from Brownie's have 100+ dives in salt water, and, aside from a few instances of slight discoloration, I've yet to have one fail.
