Did he get a replacement under warranty? I often marvel at the size of the consoles i see on dive boats, particularly for open water divers, and how they must strain the hose crimpings. they are also useful as a plough to destroy the marine environment. i refer to these consoles as cricket bats. as i brit i presume you know what i mean. i guess they can be handy when fending off a shark, in addition to the swords that o/w divers like to carry. some the the o/w instructors & DM's seem to be the worse offenders. regards Gerry Chia Sydney Australia ----- Original Message ----- From: Stuart Morrison <divebimbo@li*.fr*.co*.uk*> To: TechDiver <mailto:TechDiver@aquanaut.com.; Bill Wolk <BillWolk@ea*.ne*> Sent: Wednesday, 30 June 1999 3:45 Subject: Re: SECOND STAGE FAILURE > > Sounds like the second stage hose failed (where the swivel connector is > > crimped onto the hose), not the regulator.
