Best position is inverted, on the left side of your tanks. Reason being that you can reach around it to get at something, or reach around your light canister on the right side, but not both. The bottle should be as far down as possible so as to be in the slip stream created by the back tanks and not create any additional drag. I use the Halcyon pony straps, but there are many different ways to attach the bottle. Whatever you use, make sure it is something that you can remove yourself underwater. Inflator hose comes up underneath the waist strap to suit inflator. Argon first stage needs an overpressure valve, to avoid a blowup in the event of first stage failure. Also, the intermediate pressure should be lowered to about 90 psi or so - just enough to keep up with your fastest (likely) descent. Pressure gauge on the argon cylinder is unnecessary. -Sean On Mon, 28 Jun 1999 08:27:12 +0800, Ranjit Chagar wrote: >Morning all, > >To take this subject off to one side for a moment, can anyone tell me >the best way to rig argon to a drysuit.
