I am starting to gear myself up for DIR, as funding allows, but had a
question about regulators.  I own a Dacor ViperTec reg and octo, which I
love very much.  Its a pretty expensive reg, and quite good for normal type
dives.  I notice on here everyone has the scuba pro Mk20's.  Do you have to
dive the scubapro reg to be concidered DIR? 

I have already put a 7' hose on my ViperTec. :)
