Greetings. First a couple words on introduction. I am a divemaster, who up to this point has pretty much been a rec diver. I have some specialties, including wreck diving, which I enjoy fully, but have not done anything too hard yet, or below 130'. I have become interested in the tek end of the sport, so figured I would learn something so subscribed to the list, as well as surfing the web etc. living in TN, I don't get to hang out with tek divers much, so have to make due. :) At any rate, I am trying to just lurk and learn a bit from you guys, however everyone keeps mentioning DIR. I have not found this gear description or setup etc, and was just curious if there was a place I could learn about DIR, what it is, and why its the way to go. Any help greatly appreciated.
