I am about to purchase new regulators and would like to get the right 
stuff this time. Originally was going to go with the Scubapro         
mk20/G250 setup but the shops that I normally do business with in Fort 
Worth, TX are unable to carry the line. So, I am now considering the 
Zeagle line which evidently is made by Apeks. I still have a few 
questions that I hope someone can help me with before I make the 
final decision. Any input both positive and negative would be 
appreciated.

        1) Is the Tech-50D the setup that most people go with.? And   
           other than the 1/2" lp port are there any drawbacks to this 
           reg.  Is the 2nd stage hose fitting standard size? Or is   
           the DS4 first stage (non-swivel hose mount and 1 hp port) a 
           better choice? 

        2) What is the Flathead Six first stage?? I have never seen   
           this discussed except in the Zeagle catalog. Does anyone   
           have any experience with this unit? 

        3) I assume that the DS4 first stage is appropriate for stage 
           bottle use. 

        4) Any problems with the DIN to Yoke Converter if you have to 
           go with a yoke connection? 

        I have looked through the archives and various web sites but 
        would like a little more input from somebody with actual 
        experience with  these regs.
