Tank bouyancy info available on the internet assumes air contents, so when using helium mixes your buoyancy will be slightly different. Choosing a wing based on its capacity should also take into account the need to float the twinset independently of the diver, such as when boarding a boat in the ocean. This should dictate how much weight you need on the belt, and how much can be integral to the twinset. When diving wet, or in a neoprene drysuit, you also have to account for compression of the suit and make sure you can get up in an emergency - you can't test this in a pool. Tweak your weighting through diving. I use the Halcyon 65. Sometimes I do SAR dives in aerated water, such as beneath a waterfall, and so need the lift even when the belt is dropped. -Sean On Mon, 24 May 1999 15:35:13 -0400, Tony Blanchette wrote: >Isn't the bouyancy thing as simple as this? > >1.
