This thread is a primary example of the utter ridiculousenss of arguing one absolute versus another. Each side only believes there point of view and doesn't allow for the other's. If you guys don't want a second BT don't use it. If you want to call someone a stroke for using a 2nd BT go ahead. I fail to see how getting so worked up about such a simple issue accomplishes anything. There have been compelling arguements raised respecting the issue of a 2nd BT, you've heard them and have chosen to ignore them so does that make you guys strokes? Or does that term only apply to someone who doesn't blindly follow the DIR absolute. I have read this and other threads and it seems to me that several of the posters have raised valid issues, which points to a number of factors, one of which is they are paying great attention to detail and are very concerned about there safety. I would have no problem teaming up with someone who uses a 2nd BT. I use two so between us we will have four. If you guys think that's clutter and want to spend countless hours debating the merits of your position I would suggest that you have too much time on your hands. You guys make many valid points and have certainly raised the bar but when you spend so much time defining the ridiculous and ridiculing such minutae you loose much of the ground you gained. I'm sure you flame me for that observation but it's obvious that anyone with a slightly opposing view is exposed to the ridicule.
