If my bottom timer fails, I do not die.  If my lights fail, the odds are
pretty good I die.  In Wakulla, if just my primary fails AND I lose my
buddy, I probably die.

Again, defend your position.  Why do you need the 2nd depth gauge?  Will you
die without it?  Will you get bent without it?  I will not, ocean or cave,
hence it is not needed.  Why do you need it?  It makes you feel safer is not
a good enough answer.  You guys have not thought this stuff through.  You
are only doing what you wre taught.

Why is ocean different than cave?  You obviously have never done any serious
cave.  I feel much safer in the wide open ocean than in the confines of a
cave.  And I will bet I have done more serious ocean dives than you have so
don't even go there.
