Subject: RE: Jersey ascent line ???
Art,

You know i dont engage in email fights --- not my style.

However ---- back to bag shooting ---

so you have this arty-fact --- transfer it as close to the anchor line as
you can -- shoot it there --- send it up by itself --- remember to tie the
bag to the thing and the line to the thing .. if the bag flops or pops you
can follow the string to the thing.

the bag will go straight up -- the boat has some scope out so the bag will
be out front of the boat. go up the anchor line -- do the deco -- then ...
go get the thing --- on your next dive pick up the line or ask someone too.
Using a good large wreck reel will work fine --- despite what people say
about the bio-degradeable line it takes about a year for it to break down.
(try it at home and you will see)

As to using a personal ascent line -- i want my body going up on something
I know will not break good ole man made nylon -- i wont risk it to that
hemp stuff (dont some people smoke that ? )

regards
jds
